Tuff, the planeswalking tiefling from the city of Sigil. Here she flaunts her power as she casually levitates.
I am still annoyed with how the face turned out. I decided the background had too much going on too, so that is why you see some of it removed in the final piece.
The coloring on this piece took literally forever. I was attempting to paint a little more realistically than just the usual comic-book style I have.
Decided the hand just hanging off was too awkward and redrew it to lay on her lap.
Eventually decided to draw wings instead of tails.
I couldn't decide on how to draw the tail.
Tuff the Planeswalker is a character based off of a character I played in a D and D campaign. I was inspired to paint her, and decided to try a new style of painting to experiment. I had just gotten photoshop as well, so I went a little overboard with all the colors and brushes. I'm still pretty proud of this piece, however I simply don't like how her face turned out.
