Final Piece with a little bit of photoshop manipulation on the colors to saturate it.
I also liked it more muted, and couldn't decide which in photoshop. I thought it defined the crab a little more.
The actual colors of the finished piece.
I painted it piece by piece. It took a while to actually complete.
The crab was honestly the most annoying to paint with all of the small parts.
Here is a close up of the crab's sketch.
Beginning look at the piece. I believe I painted the red shell first, then the yellow.
Watercolor Painting - Looking for Home
This was a watercolor I did for fun, with the intention to perhaps sell one day. It is simply a little hermit crab that has grown too big for his shell looking for a new home. Quiet, quaint, and sweet. It's all watercolor on watercolor paper.
